BLIND SPOT MONITORING (BSM) WARNING LIGHT
Purpose
-
The blind spot monitoring (BSM) warning lights alert the driver to the presence of a vehicle approaching from behind.
Functions
-
If an approaching vehicle enters the blind spot monitoring (BSM) system alert area or a vehicle will reach the front end of the alert area within 3 s, the blind spot monitoring (BSM) warning light turns on, and if a turn switch signal is received on the side where the approaching vehicle exists, the indicator light flashes.

The blind spot monitoring (BSM) warning lights flash in the pattern shown in the figure.
Construction

The blind spot monitoring (BSM) warning lights are built into the left/right outer mirror glass.

A highly durable, low power consumption LED has been adopted for the blind spot monitoring (BSM) warning lights.
