DETECTION CONDITION

  • C0063:28

    • Yaw rate sensor signal outside of specified value.

  • C0063:54

    • No yaw rate sensor initialization is detected.

  • C0063:64

    • Difference between yaw rate calculated by each sensor and yaw rate received from yaw rate sensor outside of specified value is detected.

FAIL-SAFE FUNCTION

POSSIBLE CAUSE

  • The initialization procedure for the yaw rate sensor has not been performed

  • SAS control module malfunction

  • DSC HU/CM malfunction

VERIFY YAW RATE SENSOR INITIALIZATION

  • Has the yaw rate sensor initialization procedure been performed?

Yes

Go to the next step.

No

Perform the yaw rate sensor initialization procedure, then go to the next step.

VERIFY SAS CONTROL MODULE DTC

Yes

Go to the applicable DTC inspection.

(See DTC TABLE [SAS CONTROL MODULE (STANDARD DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM)].)

(See DTC TABLE [SAS CONTROL MODULE (TWO-STEP DEPLOYMENT CONTROL SYSTEM)].)

DTC troubleshooting completed, then go to the next step.

No

Go to the next step.

VERIFY DTC TROUBLESHOOTING COMPLETED

Yes

Repeat the inspection from Step1

If the malfunction recurs, replace the DSC HU/CM, then go to the next step.

(See DSC HU/CM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

No

Go to the next step.

VERIFY NO DTC IS PRESENT

  • Are any DTCs present?

Yes

Go to the applicable DTC inspection.

(See DTC TABLE [DSC HU/CM].)

No

DTC troubleshooting completed.
