FRONT HEADER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

FRONT HEADER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
1. Open the convertible top.
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)
3. Remove the A-pillar trim. (See A-PILLAR TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
4. Remove the female wedge. (See FEMALE WEDGE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
5. Remove the screws.
6. Move the front header trim in the order of arrows (1), (2) and (3) shown in the figure and remove it while detaching the clips.
7. Disconnect the map light connector.
8. Remove the map light when replacing the front header trim. (See MAP LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
9. Install in the reverse order of removal. (See Front Header Trim Installation Note.)
Front Header Trim Installation Note
1. Install the front header trim with the sunvisor open. Otherwise, the vanity mirror may be damaged.
