2016 – MX-5 – Body and Accessories

REAR SIDE MARKER LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)

2. Remove the rear splash shield. (See REAR SPLASH SHIELD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3. Disconnect the connector.

4. Remove the screw.

5. While pressing the rear side marker light tab in the direction of arrow (1) shown in the figure, pull the rear side marker light in the direction of arrow (2) and detach the rear side marker light tab from the rear bumper.

6. Pull the rear side marker light in the direction of arrow (3) shown in the figure and remove it from the rear bumper.

7. Install in the reverse order of removal.
