WASHER MOTOR INSPECTION

WASHER MOTOR INSPECTION
1. Turn the steering wheel to full right lock.
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION.)
3. Lift up the vehicle.
4. Remove the front mudguard No.2. (See FRONT MUDGUARD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
5. Disconnect the connector.
6. Disconnect the washer hose from the washer motor.
7. Apply battery voltage to washer motor terminal B, and connect terminal A to ground.
WARNING:

Water sprayed on the battery and ground could cause electrocution. When performing the washer motor inspection, prepare a container to collect washer fluid and be careful not to spray washer fluid.
8. Verify that washer fluid sprays from the washer motor.

If washer fluid does not spray from the washer motor, replace the washer motor. (See WASHER MOTOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
