1.Drill the spot welds in the 80 locations in area A shown in the figure.

2.Remove the roof panel.

Caution

• If cutting work is done using flame, a fire could occur because insulators are inserted in the locations shown in the figure. When performing the cutting work near the insulator insert areas, avoid using flame and use an air saw or drill.

3.Rough cut the 2 locations in area B shown in the figure.

4.Drill the spot welds in the 97 locations in area C shown in the figure.

5.Remove the cabin side frame (outer) (front pillar (outer)).

Caution

• If cutting work is done using flame, a fire could occur because insulators are inserted in the locations shown in the figure. When performing the cutting work near the insulator insert areas, avoid using flame and use an air saw or drill.

6.Drill the spot welds in the 20 locations in area D shown in the figure.

Note

• When drilling the spot welds in the 20 locations in area D shown in the figure, do not drill through-holes in consideration of the workability when installing.

7.Drill the spot welds in the 7 locations in area E shown in the figure.

8.Remove the hinge reinforcement and the front pillar reinforcement (upper) at the same time.

9.Drill the spot welds in the 14 locations in area F shown in the figure from the interior.

Note

• When drilling the spot welds in the 14 locations in area F shown in the figure, do not drill through-holes in consideration of the workability when installing.

10.Remove the front pillar upper reinforcement.

11.Drill the spot welds in the 3 locations in area G shown in the figure from the interior.

12.Remove the front pillar (inner).

13.Drill the spot welds in the 27 locations in area H shown in the figure.

14.Remove the hinge pillar (inner).
