Purpose
• The speedometer notifies the driver of the speed at which the vehicle is traveling.
Functions
• The instrument cluster displays the current vehicle speed based on the vehicle speed signal from the PCM.
Structure/Construction
• A digital display speedometer has been adopted.
• The current vehicle speed is displayed in the speedometer display.

• In some countries, you may have to change the speed units between km/h and mph. When pressing the speed unit select switch, the speed units in the instrument cluster will change.

Operation
1.The instrument cluster displays (2) the current vehicle speed when it receives (1) a vehicle speed signal via CAN communication from the PCM with the ignition is switched ON (engine on).
