Purpose

• The buckle switch signals each module as to whether the seat belt tongue is inserted or not.

• The buckle switch is integrated with the following buckles.

• When the seat belt tongue is not inserted into the buckle, the switch turns on (contact point: Closed).• When the seat belt tongue is inserted into the buckle, the switch turns off (contact point: Open).

• When the seat belt tongue is not inserted into the buckle, the current decreases.• When the seat belt tongue is inserted into the buckle, the current increases.
