Installation Procedure

1.When installing new parts, measure and adjust the body as necessary to conform with standard dimensions.

2.Before installing the new part, drill holes for plug welding in the 4 locations in area B.

3.After temporarily installing new parts, make sure the related parts fit properly.

4.Continuous arc welds the 7 locations in area A shown in the figure.

Note

• Secure the flange area using a hand vise so as not to open a gap in the welded area, and perform the welding work with the weld area clamped.

5.Plug welds in the 4 locations in area B shown in the figure from the front side frame (inner).

6.Arc spot welds in the 5 locations in area C shown in the figure.

7.Plug welds in the 2 locations in area D shown in the figure and install the bumper bracket.
