1.Remove the pressure control valve. (See PRESSURE CONTROL VALVE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G (WITHOUT CYLINDER DEACTIVATION (US))].)

Caution
• Do not apply a pressure 0.3 kPa {0.003 kgf/cm2, 0.04 psi} or more. Doing so will damage the pressure control valve and evaporative hose.

2.Apply a pressure of 0.3 kPa {0.003 kgf/cm2, 0.04 psi} to port A.

3.Verify that there is airflow from port B.

• If there is no airflow, replace the pressure control valve.
