DESCRIPTION
Some vehicles may exhibit DTC B14F0:76 [VCM] stored in memory and the i-ACTIVSENSE warning light (amber) on after BCM replacement.
- DTC B14F0:76 [VCM]: Forward sensing camera (FSC) deviation
【i‐ACTIVSENSE warning light (amber)】
This is caused by the learning value of the forward sensing camera (FSC) aiming being initialized after BCM replacement due to a software malfunction of the FSC. To correct this concern, the FSC software will be modified to not initialize the value of the FSC aiming after BCM replacement.
Customers having this concern should have their vehicle repaired using the following troubleshooting tables and repair procedure.
REPAIR PROCEDURE
1. Verify customer concern.
2. Perform the FSC aiming according to the instructions on MGSS (FORWARD SENSING CAMERA (FSC) AIMING).
NOTE: Either dynamic or static aiming is acceptable for this repair.
3. Verify repair.
- This warranty information applies only to verified customer complaints on vehicles eligible for warranty repair.
- This repair will be covered under Mazda’s New Vehicle Limited Warranty term.
- Additional diagnostic time cannot be claimed for this repair.
