Removal

1.Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [(US)].)

2.Remove the sensor cover. (See SENSOR COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.Disconnect the auto-dimming rearview mirror connector.

4.Remove the wiring harness clip.

Caution

• When detaching the auto-dimming rearview mirror from the mirror base, the auto-dimming rearview mirror could fall off and be damaged. When removing the auto-dimming rearview mirror, perform the work while holding the mirror with a hand.

5.Insert a flathead screwdriver into the position shown in the figure.

6.Move the flathead screwdriver in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and remove the auto-dimming rearview mirror.

Installation

1.Align the auto-dimming rearview mirror with the mirror base notch.

2.Move the auto-dimming rearview mirror in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure and install it by connecting it to the mirror base.

3.Install the wiring harness clip.

4.Connect the auto-dimming rearview mirror connector.

5.Install the sensor cover. (See SENSOR COVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

6.Connect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [(US)].)
