1.Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [(US)].)
2.Remove the license plate light. (See LICENSE PLATE LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
3.Apply battery voltage to license plate light terminal A, and connect terminal B to ground.

4.Verify that the license plate light illuminates.

• If the license plate light does not illuminate, replace the license plate light. (See LICENSE PLATE LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
