1.Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [(US)].)

2.Remove High-mount brake light. (See HIGH-MOUNT BRAKE LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.Apply battery positive voltage to high-mount brake light terminal B, and connect the ground to terminal A.

4.Verify that the high-mount brake light turns on.

• If the high-mount brake light does not turn on, replace the high-mount brake light. (See HIGH-MOUNT BRAKE LIGHT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
