1.Remove the propeller shaft. (See PROPELLER SHAFT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [(US)].)
2.Measure the propeller shaft center runout using the dial gauge.

3.Inspect the play and rotation of the joint by turning the universal joint in the directions shown by the arrows.
