Function Inspection
1.Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.
2.Switch the ignition ON (engine off).
3.Display the PIDs MAP_VOLT and MAP. (See PID/DATA MONITOR INSPECTION.)
4.Compare the voltage and manifold absolute pressure indications for the PIDs MAP_VOLT and MAP with the standard in the table indicated below.

• If they do not match the standard, perform the voltage inspection. (See Voltage Inspection.)

Voltage Inspection
1.Connect the M-MDS to the DLC‐2.
2.Switch the ignition ON (engine off).
3.Verify that the MAP sensor output voltage (PID: MAP_VOLT) is within the specification. (See PID/DATA MONITOR INSPECTION.)

• If not within the specification, replace the MAP sensor/IAT sensor No.2. (See MANIFOLD ABSOLUTE PRESSURE (MAP) SENSOR/INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE (IAT) SENSOR NO.2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G (WITHOUT CYLINDER DEACTIVATION (US))].)
