1.Connect the M-MDS to the DLC-2.

2.Switch the ignition ON (engine off or on).

3.Perform the vehicle identification.

4.Select the following items from the initialization screen of the M-MDS.

(1)”Toolbox”

(2)”Diagnosis”

(3)”OBD Test modes”

5.Select the applicable mode according to the OBD test modes table. (See OBD Test Modes Table.)

6.If the [Mode 1 Powertrain Data] is selected, select [***SUP] (with/without support for each system monitor) and [***RDY] (each system monitor completed) on the PID/data monitor item selection screen.

7.Verify the results of each test according to directions on the screen.
