REAR SEAT CUSHION TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

Caution
-
• When performing the procedure with a rear seat removed from the vehicle, perform the procedure on a clean cloth so as not to damage or soil the seat.
Removal
1.Remove the rear seat cushion. (See REAR SEAT CUSHION REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
2.Pull the edges of the rear seat trim in the directions of arrows (1) shown in the figure and remove the ISOFIX covers in the direction of arrow (2).

3.Remove the C-rings at the positions shown in the figure.

Caution

• If a C-ring is damaged when removing or installing the rear seat cushion trim and the rear seat cushion pad, it may not be possible to correctly install the rear seat cushion trim and the rear seat cushion pad. When removing or installing the rear seat cushion trim and the rear seat cushion pad, be careful not to damage the C-rings.• If a C-ring is damaged, replace it with a new one.

• The positions and number of C-rings differ depending on the type of seat.
4.While partially peeling back the rear seat cushion trim, remove the surface fasteners.
5.Remove the rear seat cushion trim from the rear seat cushion pad.
Installation
1.Align the C-ring installation holes of the rear seat cushion trim with the C-ring installation holes of the rear seat cushion pad and install the C-rings to the positions shown in the figure.

• If a C-ring is damaged when removing or installing the rear seat cushion trim and the rear seat cushion pad, it may not be possible to correctly install the rear seat cushion trim and the rear seat cushion pad. When removing or installing the rear seat cushion trim and the rear seat cushion pad, be careful not to damage the C-rings.• If a C-ring is damaged, replace it with a new one.

• The positions and number of C-rings differ depending on the type of seat.• Wrinkling can be easily prevented by installing the C-rings with a certain amount of tightening.
2.Press the rear seat cushion pad inward while pulling the rear seat cushion trim outward.

3.Align the C-ring installation holes of the rear seat cushion trim with the C-ring installation holes of the rear seat cushion pad and install the C-rings to the positions shown in the figure.

4.Align the rear seat cushion trim with the shape of the rear seat cushion pad while pressing the rear seat cushion pad outward.
