1.Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [(US)].)

2.Remove the following parts:

(1)Rear door (See REAR DOOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(2)Front scuff plate (See FRONT SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(3)Rear scuff plate (See REAR SCUFF PLATE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(4)Front seat belt lower anchor (See FRONT SEAT BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(5)B-pillar upper trim (See B-PILLAR UPPER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

(6)B-pillar lower trim (See B-PILLAR LOWER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)

3.Remove the bolts shown in the figure.

4.Remove the nut.

5.Remove the rear door hinges.

6.Install in the reverse order of removal.

7.Adjust the rear door. (See DOOR ADJUSTMENT.)
