Front door speaker
1.Connect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [(US)].)
2.Disconnect the front door speaker connector. (See FRONT DOOR SPEAKER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
3.Inspect the resistance between front door speaker terminals A and B.

Front door speaker resistance

Without Bose ® : 3.2—4.0 ohmsWith Bose ® : 3.24—3.96 ohms

• If not within the specification, replace the front door speaker. (See FRONT DOOR SPEAKER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
Rear door speaker
1.Connect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [(US)].)
2.Disconnect the rear door speaker connector. (See REAR DOOR SPEAKER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
3.Inspect the resistance between rear door speaker terminals A and B.

Without Bose ® : 3.2—4.0 ohmsWith Bose ® : 3.24 —3.96 ohms

• If not within the specification, replace the rear door speaker. (See REAR DOOR SPEAKER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
Front center speaker
1.Connect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [(US)].)
2.Disconnect the front center speaker connector. (See FRONT CENTER SPEAKER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
3.Inspect the resistance between front center speaker terminals A and B.

3.24—3.96 ohms

• If not within the specification, replace the front center speaker. (See FRONT CENTER SPEAKER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
Rear center speaker
1.Disconnect the negative battery cable. ((See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [(US)].)
2.Disconnect the rear center speaker connector. (See REAR SPEAKER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
3.Inspect the resistance between rear center speaker terminals B and C.

Rear center speaker resistance

1.0 Ω

• If not within the specification, replace the rear center speaker. (See REAR SPEAKER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
Rear side speaker
1.Disconnect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [(US)].)
2.Remove the rear side speaker. (See REAR SPEAKER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
3.Inspect the resistance between rear side speaker terminals A and B.

• If not within the specification, replace the rear side speaker. (See REAR SPEAKER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
Tweeter
1.Connect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [(US)].)
2.Remove the tweeter. (See TWEETER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
3.Inspect the resistance between positions A and B shown in the figure.

Without Bose ® : 3.9—4.7 ohmsWith Bose ® : 3.4 ohms

• If not within the specification, replace the tweeter. (See TWEETER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
Bass-box
1.Connect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [(US)].)
2.Remove the bass-box. (See BASS-BOX REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [(US)].)
3.Inspect the resistance between bass-box terminals A and B.

Bass-box resistance

1.24 ohms

• If not within the specification, replace the bass-box. (See BASS-BOX REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [(US)].)
Cowl side woofer
1.Connect the negative battery cable. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION [(US)].)
2.Remove the cowl side woofer. (See COWL SIDE WOOFER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [(US)].)
3.Inspect the resistance between cowl side woofer terminals A and B.
